The THz Optics and Photonics Research Center (TOP Center, http://topcenter.site.nthu.edu.tw/index.php) of the National Tsinghua University (NTHU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, is opening a position for a postdoctoral research fellow in the areas of laser, optics, photonics, THz science, particle radiation and acceleration. The applicant has to be a US citizen and below 45 years old, holding a doctorate degree with demonstrated research ability. The annual salary for a qualified fellow is up to $60,000 USD/year. The position begins on Aug. 1st, 2020. The initial period of employment is 1-2 years and can be extended to 4 years, subject to review and renew. The position is intended for a junior scholar to explore advanced researches with freedom and flexibility in the TOP Center. The TOP Center offers a promotion path for the employed fellow to become a principal investigator in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (http://eecs-en.site.nthu.edu.tw/), NTHU. This job only opens to a US citizen with an age below 45. The applicants must have a PhD degree in the areas of physics or engineering.
