WHAT YOU NEED - REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering discipline. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant operations, maintenance, engineering experience in the optical coating, or optics industry.
- 10+ years’ experience managing/supervising in a technical manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of environmental safety and health policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations including Process Safety Management.
- Demonstrated ability supervising an organization and providing coaching/mentoring in resolving complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability in developing successful reliability strategies.
- Proven people/leadership skills.
- Experience using MS Office Suite for effective communications, analysis, and presentation of information.
- Must be willing to work periodic workdays in excess of eight hours and at night and on weekends
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD – PREFERED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Working knowledge of the work processes characteristic in a Reliability Centered Organization.
- Experience using SPC for the maintenance work process including work notifications, work order planning, equipment history, procurement, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Manufacturing experience in a multi-product job shop environment.
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge and experience.
