Position Announcement:
The Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI invites applications for open rank tenured or tenure-track assistant, associate or full professor positions in the discipline of various computer science areas. The appointments will begin August 1, 2023 on the Indianapolis campus. Candidates must demonstrate an outstanding scholarly record of teaching and research, exhibited by high-impact peer-reviewed publications and a forward-looking, externally-funded research agenda as Principal Investigator (PI).
Research expertise in any promising area of computer science will be considered including, but not exclusively, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sensor Networks and Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing, Cybersecurity and Privacy, Database systems and Software Engineering.

Basic Qualifications:
Qualifications
· Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline. Applicants must complete their degree before the starting date of the appointment.
· Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in-person, online, or in blended learning for courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sensor Networks and Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing, Cybersecurity and Privacy, Database systems and Software Engineering, and related areas.
· A record of outstanding research productivity and impact in any of the above-mentioned areas, or a demonstrated ability to develop one. The demonstrated ability to secure external funding is required.
