Position Primary Responsibility:
· Work with the Engineering team lead and CTO to determine the Electronics specifications and requirements.
· Design and develop analogue and digital circuits and power supplies.
· Perform circuit level and system level simulations and analysis to minimize design risk and prove theoretical system performance.
· Conduct board level and system level testing, debugging, optimization.
· Document and conduct thorough peer reviews, block diagrams, specifications etc.
Required Experience:
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent.
· strong analog and digital design skills, including thermal, EMC and safety considerations.
· Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience taking ownership of complex projects and producing successful outcomes
· Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with strong time management and organization skills
· Naturally team oriented and creative, with a mission-first attitude
Desirable experience
· photonics, electro-optics, transimpedance amplifiers, sensors and systems
· Strong analog design skills including active and passive filtering, board level power supplies, low noise design techniques.
· EMC, design for MIL-STD 461, MIL-1275, shock/vibration/temperature extremes for harsh environments.
· MATHCAD/Comsol or equivalent modelling/analysis tools
