The Board of Trustees of West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC), headquartered in Graceville, FL seeks a member focused leader with proven strategic leadership and consensus building expertise, outstanding interpersonal communication skills and strong desire to positively influence and motivate others, to serve as our next CEO.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Law, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Public Relations or related field from an accredited University or College.
Ten years of increasingly responsible administrative, management, and supervisory experience in an electric cooperative.
Demonstrated leadership with public, consumer, and community groups is required.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Working knowledge of computers and information technology.
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and positively influence others towards an outcome consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in creating and fostering constructive working relationships and cohesive teams. Must take a broad scale, long-term view that focuses on the future needs of the organization and its members.
