Job Summary – Support programs in the School of Science and Mathematics, especially in the areas of engineering, biomedical science, and chemistry, and the University by teaching courses in engineering and physics. In particular, the faculty member will work collaboratively with the Departments of Physical Sciences and Engineering to promote the programs in Engineering, Chemistry and Biomedical Science/Biology. The faculty member will help advise and mentor students in these areas, continue professional development, and participate in departmental, school, and university service assignments.
Education and/or Experience – A Master’s degree in Physics or Engineering from an accredited university is required. Preference may be given to a candidate with a Ph.D. degree. Candidates from any physics or engineering discipline may apply, however, candidates able to teach a variety of basic undergraduate physics and engineering courses effectively are preferred. We are seeking an individual with higher education teaching experience or an excellent work history, promote the physical science and engineering programs, teach with mastery, and lead with innovation.
