Detailed Job Description RIT Certified is on a journey of transformation and expansion, as it sets out its ambition to grow applied non-credit and select degree programs over the next 5 years. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will work with both internal and external data and provide insight by looking at trends and patterns which help support the overall RIT Certified business strategy, ensuring new untapped opportunities can be capitalized on across the changing global market landscape. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, this position will be influential in conversations with key collaborator groups across the business making recommendations to explore and develop which can help shape new and existing program offerings.
In addition, this role will be expected to communicate a set of evidence-based data questions into the business for us to develop our thinking commercially with an aim of retaining and growing market share both within the region of Western New York and globally. This role will be expected integrate labor demand insights, industry trends, enrollment demand and learner behavior to derive trends, insights, and projections. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will work with the Director of Business Development and Community Partnerships to develop and execute on a long-term point of view on enrollment projections and acquisition costs and partner with other teams to inform financial planning. As part of demand assessment for ongoing programs, this position will be tasked with understanding the 'why' behind performance to provide actionable insights and ideas for improvement. A key function of the role will be to recognize, follow, and analyze trends in the market as well as research historical data to map trends and determine how they will influence the business.

Minimum Qualifications
Strong background in economics, statistics or related
Proven business experience with Tableau, SQL, and Excel/Google Sheets
3-5 years professional experience in business planning, forecasting and analysis
Analytical, intellectually curious, creative problem-solver who is comfortable going beyond data access to analytics and strategic insights
Keen design and data visualization skills - you know how to transform data to generate useful insights and be easily digestible
Advanced experience working with analytics models like multi-touch attribution (MTA), workforce optimization, forecasting, lead scoring, customer retention etc.
Strong written and oral communication skills - you can build analytical and decision support models, synthesize recommendations, and create effective presentations for all audiences
Team player mindset, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
