Position Summary:
A successful transition to a sustainable, carbon-neutral, society of the future requires unprecedented collaboration across multiple disciplines. Recognizing this, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at the University at Buffalo (UB) seeks applicants for a multi-departmental faculty cluster that will engage collaboratively on shared problems in the broad area of clean energy. Faculty appointments at all levels (assistant, associate, and full professor) are anticipated, with one hire each in the Departments of
The cluster will emphasize multidisciplinary collaboration, both among faculty within this group and with existing colleagues across SEAS and UB. Applicants should have a strong and demonstrated commitment to engagement in collaborative research and education.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in a discipline related to Medicine and Engineering, including Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering and Materials Design.
Degree must be conferred by the appointment date, or evidence provided that all academic requirements for the degree have been met.
Preferred Qualifications:
Instructional experience at the university level is preferred, as well as a demonstrated record in external funding.
