Advertised Job Summary:
The Department of Electrical Engineering within the College of Engineering and Computing seeks to fill position Program Manager for performance under two or more DoD research contracts related to digital twins of power and energy systems. This position is responsible for developing and tracking project schedules, communicating schedules and upcoming deadlines to project personnel, prompting project personnel to meet milestones and deadlines, coordinating acquisition of equipment and supplies with the purchasing office and vendors, collecting contributions for reports and presentations from project participants and integrating that content into reports and presentations (including some editing), scheduling meetings, and working with faculty, research staff, graduate and undergraduate students and subcontractors (totaling 40-60 people) to achieve project goals on time and on budget.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years related experience OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years related experience. Prior experience in a project management position.
