Coordination, management, and curation of data from research studies in the department of Radiology. The candidate will support radiology faculty and investigators in their research effort by working directly with them to develop and maintain software tools for image data transfer and data analysis, remote (cloud based) data archiving, and by creating of study specific data base solutions.
Responsibilities will include
+ setup and maintenance of servers for archiving of study and imaging data
+ implementation, maintenance, und upgrade of data pipelines for the transfer, deidentification, and archiving of imaging data
+ support of faculty and staff to develop study specific research data management solutions
+ setup, service and maintain workstation and software for data analysis
+ provide support for IT needs of faculty, staff, postdocs, and students related to new and ongoing research studies.
This position will work in a highly collaborative research environment in the department of Radiology to assist with the coordination, transfer, archiving, and documentation of research study imaging data, such as MRI and CT images. Prior experience with imaging analysis software suites and data management platforms is considered a strength. Proficiency in coding and scripting tools is preferred.
Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Partners with faculty and investigators to define requirements based on research news and research study objectives related to software, data transfer, and data management.
Support of faculty and staff to develop study specific research data management and data base solutions, including research study data and radiologic images such as CT or MRI
Administration
Develop standardized templates, policies, and procedures for internal and external transfer and archiving of imaging data.
Designs and prepares documentation for transfer and archiving of imaging data.
Setup, service and maintain workstation and software for data analysis
Development
Completes a variety of statistical analyses using appropriate data and software
implementation, maintenance, und upgrade of data pipelines for the transfer, deidentification, and archiving of imaging data
Support of faculty and staff to develop study specific research data management solutions
Setup, service and maintain workstation and software for data analysis
Performance
Supports data cleaning and organizes data files for analysis.
Reviews data and identifies quality issues
Works with the team to interpret group and individual results
implementation, maintenance, und upgrade of data pipelines for the transfer, deidentification, and archiving of imaging data
Supervises
Trains and supervises subordinate staff and students
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provide support for IT needs of faculty, staff, postdocs, and students
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree from an accredited college or university in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Psychology, or related
