Detailed Job Description
- Serve as a liaison between the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Deans' Office, participating departments and programs, the University Writing Program, and the Expressive Communication Center, to help ensure consistency and cohesion across our transformative texts-based curriculum
- Help coordinate professional development events for AEC Cornerstone-involved and Cornerstone-interested faculty and recruit new faculty (e.g. developing transformative text list)
- Write articles and present results at academic conferences
- Take lead on designing and teaching two transformative texts-based AEC Cornerstone courses per year (potentially the first year humanities career course)

Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Communication or Philosophy, or related EdD (Education), PhD in Communication or Philosophy, or related field
- Qualitative research methods in education, particularly conducting and analyzing interview
- Ability to write formal papers and present talks at conferences
- Ability to communicate and network effectively across a variety of audiences / group
- Designing curriculum and assignments to attract and engage students
