Detailed Job Description
Provide administrative and clerical support to Director and department members
Acquire & compile data
Order office supplies and monitor equipment
Handle logistics (reporting, events, etc.)
Assign counselors/academic advisors to all NTID students
Monitor assignments and caseload distribution
Support student, families, and community inquiries/referrals
Handle confidential student related files and personnel paperwork
Support Registrar-related form submissions
Manage department budget
Online finacial system, procurement card, journal entries, PCMs, etc.
Assist Career Coordinator with career assessment management (send and run reports)

Department/College Description NTID Counseling & Academic Advising Services is responsible for providing academic advising, personal counseling, and career counseling to Deaf and hard of hearing students. Please visit https://www.rit.edu/ntid/caas for more information.
NTID is one of the nine colleges of Rochester Institute of Technology. Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience:
Associate's or Equivalent Experience
3-5 years experience
Skills:
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with PeopleSoft and/or higher education related software
Proficiency in American Sign Language
Strong written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Budget/bookkeeping skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
