What will you be doing:
The Lead Epic Bridges Interface Analyst represents the Bridges team for Major Initiatives, Technical Scope meetings, Early Discussions or Challenges. Participates and provides technical supervision in the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic Bridges interfaces. Responsibilities include data analysis, Bridges interface build, documentation of requirements, building and maintaining mapping tables, reporting, problem management and root cause analysis, business owner interaction for discovery and testing, development of technical policies, procedures, and documentation. Functions as a technical resource to other EIS staff and the EIS Help Desk. Provides Team Oversight on major project deadlines, go-lives, and tracking of progress by team members.
Functions as a liaison between technical staff, application build teams and testing team, under the direction of the EIS Manager.
Integrates Epic Bridges into the current computing environment and develop policies, procedures, and documentation for EIS staff and helpdesk as appropriate.
Provides mentorship to Bridges analysts and serve as point of escalation for triaging and mitigation. Functions as a technical resource to other EIS staff and department business owner.
Assists in the successful deployment of Epic application software upgrades and patched in relationship to Epic Bridges.
Ten (10)+ years' experience with computer technology in a multi-platform environment.
Five (5)+ years' experience with Epic Bridges technology.
Expertise with Epic Bridges interfaces including the documentation, design, building, testing, implementation, and support of Epic Bridges interfaces.
Highly effective proficiency in organizational skills, project management, presentation, and communications tools.
Solid grasp of enterprise interface engines, basic Unix, FTP processes, TCP/IP, Cache (preferred), HL7, ANSI X12 and Epic Chronicles.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. (preferred)
Epic Bridges Certification required.
