Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, invites applicants for non-tenure track teaching-focused faculty positions in computer science to begin in August 2022.  Candidates must hold an MS in computer science or a closely related field to hold the rank of Instructor, or a PhD in computer science or a closely related field for the rank of Assistant Professor.

The Department of Computer Science supports bachelors, masters and doctoral programs in computer science and closely related areas such as artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, data science, and software engineering. The department seeks to expand upon strengths in current teaching and research clusters (algorithms, bioinformatics, computer vision, high-performance computing, machine learning, natural language processing, networking/security, and systems), and to develop additional strength in key areas such as software engineering and human-computer interactions. Faculty members are expected to contribute toward teaching a diverse portfolio of inclusive classes at the undergraduate level, with the option of also teaching classes at the graduate level as well.
