Our West Geography offices are looking for an Audiovisual Consultant to join our multi-disciplinary Acoustics, Audiovisual, Theater, and Experience Design team.
You'll work on a wide range of projects that are both local, national, and even international. We work on large-scale casinos in Vegas, performing arts, airports, conference and assembly spaces, and hospitality-style projects. Our consultants combine spatial, technical, and operational audiovisual design, and work closely with acoustics and lighting designers, to integrate technology into spaces.

The position’s responsibilities will involve:
- Technical design of audiovisual system for a variety of projects including airports, hospitals, performing arts venues, corporate offices, schools, hotels, etc.
- Prepare professional reports and technical specifications
- Produce technical drawings using Autodesk Revit
- Work as part of multidisciplinary design teams to deliver quality work on time
- Effectively communicate with client and other project stakeholders for requirements gathering, coordination, and project delivery
- Site walks for installation verification and AV commissioning
- Willingness to travel to deliver world-leading leading projects
Qualified applicants shall have the following:
- Knowledge of principles of wired and wireless transmission for audio, video, and data
- Info COMM CTS with interest in achieving CTS-D
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Biamp, Crestron, Dante, Extron, QSC, etc.)
- 4 or more years of experience designing audiovisual systems for buildings
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Architectural Engineering, Information Technology, TV/Film/Radio, Technical Theatre, or related field
- Experience in AutoCAD, Blubeam Revu, and Revit
- Control systems programming experience a plus
- Candidates with additional experience in acoustics, experience design, live sound, production, smart buildings, digital buildings, and/or telecommunications design are particularly encouraged to apply
