Job Description
The Sr. Integration Engineer is a multi-skilled engineer who will architect, design, build, deploy, and guide development teams to produce integration components for the enterprise. Following agile principles this role will be responsible to estimating work, accepting stories into delivery increments, and completing tasks to deliver the work. Proficiency is needed in API, ETL, and EDI tools, SQL databases, data analytics, data quality, user interface design, support operations, and process improvement methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs, codes, tests, and documents MuleSoft API platform components, including supporting applications and interfaces
- Manage ETL activity within Data Quality SQL databases used for SAP data conversions and integrations
- Support EDI team as needed related to activity within that platform
- Guide and support cross-functional development activity in conjunction with other integration technology resources
- Develops and tests infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environments
- Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies
- Manages the DevOps pipeline deployment model
- Enables automated testing procedures
- Implements software in all environments
- Leverages containerization models and works with other engineers and architects to keep the architecture current
- Assists in the support and enhancement of applications
- Writes high-quality code compliant with regulations
- Collaborates with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or related field
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Experience with the MuleSoft API platform, MuleSoft certification preferred
- Experience with architecture and domain driven design of API integration components
- Experience with other data movement technologies (ETL, EDI)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience with definition and automation of test cases
- Experience with build and deployment automation using CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps)
- Experience in systems development lifecycle
- Experience in Analytical concepts and implementations
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation
- Experience with server-side architectures and containerization
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with business concepts and data story telling
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
- Ability to lead and organize work of other development team members
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
- The Base salary compensation range for this role in Colorado is $115,920.00 - 144,900.00 USD Annual, with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary
