Job Description

Perform PLC/DCS programming, troubleshooting and operational support on a variety of platforms (primarily Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, Foxboro, Emerson platforms) for customers in the Louisiana and Texas area. In this role, you will design, define, implement, test and commission complex control system solutions for customers. You may also analyze existing systems, develop functional specifications, network architecture drawings, input/output assignments, and specify working parameters proper control action/tuning. You will coordinate integration of subsystems into the primary control system, as well as identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies. You may also develop and recommend corrective actions as needed for robust and effective operation.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

Basic Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Technical).

- Rockwell Automation will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. No sponsorship is being offered with this role.

- Ability to travel 30-50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.

- Experience in PLC/DCS configuration and HMI development on key platforms.
