Are you looking to further your career in security automation? If so, we are looking to hire a Cybersecurity DevOps Engineer to join our Threat Detection and Response team! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development and build-out of our security detection and response technology portfolio.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ongoing development (primarily Python) of security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platform.

• Develop API integrations with Python

• Automation of manual tasks by writing Python and PowerShell scripts

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Build correlation rules and/or logic to detect malicious activity

• Build automation for response and remediation of malicious activity

• Responding to various security events

• Maintain detection systems, like Splunk

• Develop and maintain documentation related to detection and alerting procedures for security events

Desired Skills:

• Functional and practical experience with scripting and automation techniques with sophisticated knowledge of PowerShell, Python, API calls, and regular expressions

• Strong problem solving, ability to analyze, design, develop, deploy and support solutions

• Proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD environments, and tooling such as AWS, GitLab, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, etc

• Experience with network and/or systems administration

• Experience with various security products, tools, and infrastructure

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (nice to have)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• Highly technical and analytical hands-on experience in prior professional, educational, or personal projects

• Background in information technology with a focus on network or systems administration

• Hold or willingness to acquire certifications such as GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GDAT, CISSP or other relevant security certifications
