Position Summary The Laboratory for Hybrid Quantum Systems at the Michigan State University (MSU) Department of Physics and Astronomy and Spartan Innovations are seeking qualified applicants for a postdoctoral research position to investigate quantum systems and technologies based on the coupling of superconducting qubits to high-frequency surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices. In addition to developing novel quantum devices based on these systems, the project is focused on advancing these systems to a higher level of technology readiness for quantum sensing and quantum memory applications (see below). The postdoc will design and fabricate novel hybrid quantum systems coupling superconducting qubits to surface acoustic wave devices and perform measurements on these devices
