Most importantly, you'll get to deliver end to end service, and shape how ANZ delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology. What will your day look like? As Mobile Engineer you will be responsible for building innovative mobile software for our end users, using best-of-breed network technologies, and modern software development practices. As part of this role you will working closely with design and content delivery teams to provide the best user experience, and work with our dedicated business services teams to utilize both existing and new services for our products. You'll use the latest native mobile development techniques and work closely with designers to push the boundaries of mobile development with 2D and 3D animation, video streaming, rich interactive content, and more. You will also be responsible for defining and maintaining our development tooling and software architecture. You will review and maintain software engineering best practices, and work with business services teams to help define new and innovative technical solutions that meet business objectives and provide a great user experience. What will be in your toolkit?
A deep understanding sound code practices.
Extensive experience with native mobile software development and accessibility tools
A sound understanding of modern networking techniques
You will have deep expertise in Android or iOS tooling and technology including Android Studio, Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines & Flow (Rx equivalent), Room Database and Material Components & Theming or Xcode, Swift, UIKit and Combine (or RxSwift)
You will be comfortable with Git and have Github experience
A thorough understanding of Unit testing
