Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an electrical engineer. Responsibilities include using 3D BIM software to design, coordinate and develop plans for electrical lighting and power systems; preparing reports, schedules, and studies related to electrical systems; performing design calculations; assisting with the preparation of electrical cost estimates; attending client meetings and participating in project related field visits. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
At least two years of relevant electrical design experience
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
Designing building electrical systems (such as low and medium voltage power distribution; indoor and outdoor lighting systems)
Power analysis software (EasyPower and SKM Power Tools preferred)
Building codes (such as International Code Council and National Fire Protection Association)
MS Office software (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
