Public cloud is a key enabler for transformation and agility for Credit Suisse to stay results-oriented in the digital landscape since it offers capability and agility that are hard if not impossible to replicate internally. As a Cloud Architect in the Enterprise Cloud Architecture team, applicant will be accountable for defining Architecture patterns to support enablement of Public Cloud at scale for the Enterprise. In this role as Cloud Architect, work multi-functionally with globally aligned Cloud engineering teams as well as Divisional Application Development teams to develop and validate patterns. Your skills and experience
Key skills encouraged for this role are as follows:
Graduate degree or other relevant higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Azure Public Cloud Certification desired.
Proven track record of several years of experience as a senior software engineer / architect in the banking/finance sector. This should include foundational background coding in 2-3 modern programming languages
Proven experience designing distributed, failure-resistant Application architectures using Azure Public Cloud PaaS services including Kubernetes, Machine Learning/AI, Database as Service, Serverless
Detailed knowledge of Cloud integration patterns and technologies including - REST-based APIs, Asynchronous and Synchronous messaging, Cloud ETL
Understanding of Cloud Security and Landing Zone concepts. Network concepts and tenant isolation (Azure Subscriptions, Private endpoints, BYOK encryption at rest, Modern Identity and Access Management (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
Equivalent work experience with DevSecOps technologies. Also including – CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins), software repos (e.g. Git), Infrastructure as Code Automation templates (e.g. Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation), scripting and configuration management tools (Powershell, Bash, JSON, YAML, Helm)
