This position is responsible for providing consultancy to key customers as part of a targeted sales effort to drive RA technology adoption. Supporting the Industry forums like BioPhorum and ISPE and the Customer Eco System of End Users, EPCs, OEMs and SIs. You will be a contributor to a highly skilled team.
Provide consultation to drive RA technology adoption in RA End User accounts in Life Science Industry
Contribute to a highly proactive skilled team leveraging domain expertise to complex sales pursuits across EMEA. Activities include envisaging modern solutions including IIOT/Industrie 4.0, Consultancy and Recommendations, Articulate RA value, Customer Presentations, Proof of Concept, Control System Design and Application Notes.
Possess strong applied process and or machine systems and domain knowledge
Advanced knowledge on the capabilities of all Rockwell Automation core products, to include but not limited to PLC, HMI, Process, Networks & Comms, I/O and MES/IS software
Manage customer expectations for own projects and engagements
Take initiative in response to changing circumstances within the organization or markets
Ensure the right level of business information is exchanged within the organization
Confident to present to large audiences and ability to communicate at all levels both within our own and the customers organization
Autonomous highly motivated and independent individual with the ability to work interactively within a virtual pan EMEA team
Interact directly with other consultants and managers in and outside of the core team, e.g. program managers and OEM consultants
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully prioritize those as required
This is a pan EMEA role - preferred base location is Western Europe (DACH, Benelux, Nordic)
Travel will be based upon business requirements (typically 40% to 60 % of the time) and will regularly involve onsite customer presentations and presales activity across EMEA
Nationally recognized university degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, generally BS Electrical Engineering or BS Mechanical Engineering.
Fluent German and English language skills, any additional relevant language skills would be a distinct advantage
Experience of any of the following: Biotech, API, BMS, QBMS, EMS, FDA, IQ, OQ, PQ, Quality, Validation, EBR, MES, DCS, Batch Control, SCADA, PLC, MCC, Ethernet Networking, Cyber Security, Asset Management, Historian, MPC, Reporting, Database, IOT and Cloud. Practical understanding of relevant standards including GAMP 5, S88, FDA 21 CFR P11/A11 and NAMUR MTP.
