The ideal candidate be comfortable in a dynamic environment and keen to use both technical and functional skills to deliver Information Solutions projects to manufacturing environments. Responsible for executing MOM/MES project engineering tasks such as functional and design specifications, technical application development, quality assurance, commissioning, and support. They will also be capable of supporting sales on opportunities with pricing and technical consulting tasks. Diverse assignments and travel can be expected.
Technical & Functional Engineering
Applies broad systems engineering knowledge related to programming languages for implementing Information Solution applications in a manufacturing environment.
Definition of user requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications, software engineering, system configuration, software development, software testing, system installation and support.
Designs and configures Manufacturing Information solutions to meet customer project requirements.
Expertise in established development and project execution methodologies and artefacts.
Key resource for supporting project plan; defines technical delivery scope and supports Project Manager in scope control and estimating remaining technical tasks and effort, ensuring overall quality of the technical system.
Assist sales pursuits by providing technical support and services estimates

Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, etc.) as well as RA policies and procedures.
Ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct and trains/motivates teams in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.
BS in Engineering or Science, or equivalent technical experience.
Typically, minimum of 1-8 years of experience in Information Solutions development or delivery
Food and Beverage, Process or Pharmaceutical industry experience
English speaking and writing skills.
SDLC - including AGILE and Waterfall methodologies
Experience with DevOps process and tools such as SVN, GIT, JUnit, JIRA, Jenkins and Maven.
Knowledge of common relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Exposure to common Integration Tools and Transactions (ERP, Automation) using industry preferred tools and technologies (Middleware, JMS, REST Webservices, Camel)
Knowledge of common information technology (IT) platforms including VMWare
Knowledge of JEE Application Servers (i.e. JBoss)
Ability to perform code reviews
Good problem solving skills
Knowledge of multi-thread programming, Exception Handling, Logging and Localization.
Knowledge the Automation Industry including OPC/LiveData
Ensures tasks are in line with Quality processes
Retains excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Retains excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills.
Willing and able to travel up to 25% and work at customer sites when required.
Ability to achieve goals aligned to business direction and performance

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) , Manufacturing Operations Management ( MOM) , Manufacturing Information and Reporting Systems. ERP integration, Process Control System Integration
MOM/MES/IoT applications including but not limited FactoryTalk ProductionCentre (FTPC), PTC ThingWorx, CPG Suite, PharmaSuite (FTPS), OEE applications, Historian
Interest and experience in technology trends such as Cloud, AI, Analytics, Azure, Docker
Domain and Industry Experience
Dairy, Food, Beverage, and Brewing, Consumer Product Goods, Process Industry, Life Science, Mining
Knowledge of V Model and GAMP5 development and validation processes
Knowledge of ERP and or PCS integration patterns
Knowledge of ISA95 and or S88 Batching models
Ability to sell a customer on benefits of a technical solution.
Ability to perform technical leadership on complex MES/MIS solutions
Ability to work with the latest Rockwell Automation MES/MIS industry applications.
Experience working on projects and solutions for major industry customers in target industries.
