What You Will Do:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing the technical guidance and direction around product's anchor feature's test strategies, designs, and frameworks. You will carry out various tasks to ensure the test approaches are effectively and efficiently designed, implemented, and maintained for both legacy and new development. You will leverage software engineering best practices to provide testing pattern standards across products. You will ensure the anchor feature's test design and framework are highly scalable and allows for future innovation without complete refactoring.
Be a feature test lead for a project's anchor feature.
Highly proficient in test methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Partner with team members across product, architecture, development, DevOps, and testing teams in designing testing approaches.
Collaborate with product management teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to develop a comprehensive set of tests.
Promote and support implementation of CI/CT/CD pipeline
Able to provide in-depth analysis to resolve technical issues, anticipate risks and ensure timely management escalation
Provide test solutions for both functional and non-functional software quality.
Lead test effort estimation, test planning and risk analysis activities for features or projects.
Manage resources, testing schedules, and quality expectations for features or projects.
Develop manual/automation test strategy or design documentations.
Design and develop test platforms for new and existing complex products throughout program's SDLC.
Lead automation activities:
Value, risk, cost and technological complexity evaluation to formulate the automation test strategy and scope.
Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual testing events.
Architect/Design test automation framework and develop the new test automation libraries. The framework should be designed in such a way that it increases and speeds up their productivity. You will be a creative and proactive thinker and you will make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
Collaborate with the build master to implement/improve build test processes, environments, and scripts. These build tests ensure that the code drops to quality assurance are of the highest quality.
Evaluate and utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance.
Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing.
Participate in the development and support multiple testing efforts for various programs simultaneously.
Partner with Principal Engineers and System/Software Architects to create reusable test designs for complex feature interactions.
Significantly improve product quality through defect prevention and defect discovery.
Demonstrated ability to influence a broad cross functional audience.
Demonstrated ability to influence a broad cross divisional audience.
Demonstrated ability to operates in 'grey' without guidance.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and educate individuals or small groups as well as multiple project teams to ensure that best design practices and standards are met.

What You Need
B.S. of Engineering related degree
6+ years of experience; Masters of Science with 5 years of experience; PhD with 2 or more years of experience
Knowledge of C++ and Python preferred.
Experience in a regulated software development environment desired.
Experience leading complex product development initiatives from concept through release.
Demonstrated experience in the following: software testing methods, test plan and test case development, software risk analysis and software development practices.
