Welcome to join the Stryker Lund/Jolife AB team at Ideon Science Park. We are a growing, cross-functional team of currently 25 team members. We develop, manufacture, and drive the global business of the LUCAS chest compression system, a life-saving medical device used by emergency care professionals around the world.
The LUCAS device was invented in Lund, Sweden in the early 2000's and is today a global market leading solution available in 72 markets, helping responders save sudden cardiac arrest patients.

This is a senior management role working across multidisciplinary teams, including collaboration with global sites and teams, with responsibility for all aspects of NPD project management to ensure on time delivery of complex cross functional projects within Stryker Lund in line with the project budgets. The projects will include R&D, Process Optimization and New Product Development in addition to external customer/supplier facing projects. This position reports to R&D Director in Lund.
What you will do:
Overall responsibility for the project management of R&D projects to include key strategic projects, complex cross site, multi-disciplinary team projects. Projects may be internal, cross functional, multi-site or external customer/supplier facing.
Lead, Manage and Develop the R&D Project team ensuring that all of the key principles of Project management are understood and active across all projects.
Effectively apply and enforce project standards, including design control while leading the team and managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects
Overall responsibility to ensure all work is planned and to deliver projects to plan, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements while continually minimizing exposure and risk and ensuring compliance to QMS.
Process owner for Design Control
Assure all project legal documents are completed and signed, e.g. NDAs, IP
Effectively communicate relevant project information to leadership
Motivate team to work together to deliver objectives and goals in line with the R&D roadmap and hence overall company objectives.
Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members and others as relevant.
Participate in the formulation of the New Product and Technology Roadmaps
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the industry, the Stryker portfolio and competitive landscape.

What you will bring:
Demonstrable experience in the Project Management and delivery of complex projects across multi-site, multi-functional teams
Strong project management skills including use of an industry accepted planning tools such as Microsoft Project
Project Management of R&D/Product Development Projects, preferably of products that contain electronics, software and mechanics
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral, and meeting skills)
Experience of a project delivery within an end to end product development lifecycle for New Product Introduction
Working within a regulated industry under an established Quality Management System
Working knowledge of the principles of design control
Motivation, Negotiation and Leadership skills
Demonstrating strong team player skills, a track record of great interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate a group to work towards a common goal
Very high work standards with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Your educational background:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Electric Engineering or related engineering discipline
