To ensure success as a SharePoint Online Developer, the candidate should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint Online and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. Ultimately, a top-class SharePoint Developer can create clean, scalable SharePoint Online websites that meet all our design and functionality requirements.
Provides experienced monitoring, back-up and recovery, maintenance scripting, problem resolution, and performance tuning of databases; consults with customers to address and resolve database issues.
Performs experienced data conversion and data migration; identifies and repairs data quality issues; configures and implements database updates to improve security and performance.
Maintains security at the highest level by adhering to security standards and protocols; collaborates with development teams to develop, test, and ensure implementation of security best practices and policies.
Designs database-specific processes and scripts in accordance with team directives and goals.
Maintains and develops technical expertise through professional development, including attending conferences and exhibitions.
Serves as an experienced resource for problem diagnosis and resolution of issues arising from the deployment and operation of database applications.

Lead the development of a search driven, multi-lingual, publishing Extranet
Assess needs for and build proof of concepts taking into consideration scalability and maintainability
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows in the cloud
Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, extensions, and components
Testing and debugging code.
Reviewing website interface and software stability.
Troubleshooting software issues.
Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
Providing systems training to staff and customers.
Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
2 years of database administration, support, analysis or related experience
Previous experience as a SharePoint Developer.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
