Detailed Job Description Please note-this position may require the ability to work occasional nights and weekends The Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for a variety of departmental functions and support for day-to-day activities of the various units comprising the NTID Office of External Affairs. The Senior Program Coordinator also provides administrative support for the Executive Director of the Office of External Affairs. This position is expected to routinely collaborate with constituents, campus partners, and department staff in order to reach the fundraising, engagement and visibility goals of the department.
Specific responsibilities include:
Program coordination lead and/or support the planning, execution, and evaluation of select programs.
Serves as the point person in coordinating the Office of External Affairs main programs and initiatives, including those programs and initiatives implemented by boards and committees supported by the Office of External Affairs.
Oversee, coordinate and execute specific components of constituent events and meetings related to NTID Advancement and Business Operations in support of the division's fundraising and engagement goals. Further responsible for staffing events as needed and interacting with campus individuals as well as alumni, parents, donors, prospects and volunteers.

The NTID Foundation Board of Directors and NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors meetings. Also assist with activities of the Dyer Advisory Group, Theater Advisory Group, RADSCC Advisory Group, and Athlete Development Advisory Group.
Assists Executive Director with budget management, pro-card reconciliation and all aspects of tracking, analysis and reporting on the department's various budgets
Provides administrative support primarily for the Executive Director, but also for other members of the team as needed
Create and deliver onboarding content for the Department's full time, permanent employees. Manage the recruiting, training and scheduling for the department's student employees and their supervisors including job description development; applicant screenings; and department orientation.
Serve as the project team leader for the distribution of the NTID Advancement scholarship stewardship reports.
Manage, prepare and facilitate the printing and distribution of routine and special project constituent correspondence.

Department/College Description The mission of the NTID Office of External Affairs is to provide institute leadership in high quality and coordinated engagement of alumni, parents, retirees, corporate partners, community organizations, partner not-for-profits and other organizations. Through its work, the office will:
Increase philanthropic support of the institute
Identify and grow revenue generating programs through contract work with corporations and other organizations,
Build a network of partners to increase nationwide visibility and assist NTID is realizing its enrollment, employment, constituent engagement and research goals.
Specific areas of oversight include:
Business Operations (automatic speech recognition corporate module contracts; NTID Studios contracts, and others)
Constituent Relations (alumni, parent and retiree relations)
Special Events (responsibility for major special events, speakers and conferences)
Arts & Athletics (Dyer Arts Center, Panara Theater operations, NTID Athlete Development Program, MorphEyes Studio)
Experience with Deaf culture and ability to communicate in American Sign Language or willingness to learn
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to gather and analyze data and utilize results for making informed decisions, streamlining operations and maintaining operational expenses
Well organized and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to adopt and become proficient with key business applications such as calendar, video conferencing, and event management applications.
Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
Proven advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
