What you will do:
As a Staff Electrical Design Product Engineer, you will be designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electrical components, assemblies, or subsystems for electrical and/or electromechanical medical devices under specific time, regulatory, and cost constraints to ensure successful testing, manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability of the Mobius products. You will closely work with manufacturing and quality engineers overseeing assembly, testing of electrical components and to design and implement test fixtures for electrical parts. You will also be working with vendors and cross functional teams for various parts and products.
Responsible for understanding and maintaining electrical circuits in the products with moderate supervision and select components and equipment based on specifications reliability and regulatory requirements
Ability to lead root cause and failure analyses of electrical devices and eliminate causes of non-conformities and other issues
Analyze equipment to establish operating data, ensure experimental tests are conducted and evaluate the results and write V&V test plans and procedures.
Support electrical aspects of product regulatory testing and refine designs and update schematics and documentation for the product.
Occasional travel to other testing facilities, supplier sites and customer sites and also develop procedures and troubleshooting customer systems and resolve customer issues.
Submit periodic reports and document process
What you need:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Medical Device experience preferred
6+ years experience in Engineering and Products
Strong understanding of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes and controls.
Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
