Designs, implements, and supports electronic commerce solutions for business to consumer and business to business technologies; Monitors Edi systems, performs root cause analysis of current issues, and recognizes trends that may lead to future issues (e.g. performance, capacity); Translates formats, ensures communication, and facilitates the flow of new and existing transactions; Contributes to projects that encompass communications with EDI Value Added Networks, directs connections to trading partners, data transmissions to and from business applications, and data translation to and from ANSI X12 and other format types; Delivers solutions and provides ongoing business support; Solves and remedies complex problems (e.g., missing item errors, issues requiring final resolution); Recommends and implements corrective actions; Translates trading partner needs into EDI system requirements and connectivity; Recognizes, develops, and documents internal process improvements, trains and guides the team on the implementation of that improvement; and Completes mapping changes required for a customer or supplied on board.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study and three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation. Applicants must have demonstrated experience with: EDI terminology; Microsoft Office Suite; SQL (Oracle or DB2); and TrustedLink and BizManager.
