This role will report to the Sales & Marketing VP and will drive DenseLight's business in North America. This person is a hunter who will grow existing customers, and find new opportunities either directly or through DenseLight's channel partners. This person is expected to be a technical consultant to DenseLight's customers, who see this person as someone who can deliver solutions.
Meet & beat goals/targets
Qualify and engage with new customers, and work with internal teams to win designs
Understand customer's buying cycle, and assist the VP of Sales in forecasting
Understand market trends in the datacom & fiber sensing market, and work with internal teams to drive design wins and volume growth.
Support the channel, and ensure they have the right tools to win DenseLight business
Degree in engineering with 1-3 years sales experience in Optoelectronics or Photonics
Some experience in Datacom and Fiber sensing market preferred
Able to work independently from a home based office
Able to travel across North America, post Covid
Application or R&D engineers wanting to start a career in sales will be considered seriously for a technical sales position
Telecommuting is allowed.
