We are looking for a leader to help guide and support a team of quality engineers responsible for driving quality process improvements, standardization and modern methods into new product developments. You and your team will collaborate with engineering teams, business partners and other quality functions in order to influence the development of new motor control products.
As a key member in New Product Introductions, this role is to ensure that quality is built into the designs through proactive early engagement and the use of processes such as Design for Six Sigma, Advanced Product Quality Planning and Design For Excellence. You will have the ability to make major impacts on product quality, collaborating with leadership across Quality, Engineering, Product Management, Business, and Operations.

Directly manage a multi-campus team of quality engineers; providing guidance, motivation and performance management for their continued development.

Ensure product development activities comply with corporate and business level processes and procedures.
Be a key part of cross functional new product introductions; responsible for driving quality process improvements, standardization and modern methods into projects.
Help your team eliminate cost of poor quality by leading improvement activities in design, manufacturing, and supplier quality capabilities and processes so your team is best in class in helping to create robust, reliable and consistently manufacturable products.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/management role.
Experience demonstrating technical leadership capabilities, working effectively with different levels of staff across functional boundaries.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Experience with the development and implementation of electromechanical hardware systems that meet product certification requirements.
Must exhibit interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Master's degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree or similar technical degree.
5 years of experience in product development and release of motor control products.
Experience in industrial automation product development or related technical areas, including background with large scale system development projects.
Experience working with global team members on multi-campus product development.
A working knowledge of DfSS, APQP and Df(x) methodologies.
Experience in project management, either as a combination of technical lead and project management role or as a dedicated project manager.
