Work You'll Do
Utilize technologically advanced computer labs and cutting-edge software to offer new, innovative solutions to clients' complex legal problems. Query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns, examine financial data and filter for targeted information using traditional (SQL Server 2012, Oracle 11.2, Microsoft Access) as well as advanced visual (Tableau) and predictive analytic methodologies (SAS, neural networks, machine learning) and software packages. Design and develop user defined application modules, perform data quality control, develop database reports and user interfaces, and normalize relational data. Perform detailed data analysis for developing meaningful insights to address regulatory and business challenges across industries. Collaborate with attorneys, forensic accountants, clients, and other investigators to produce analyses in support of an investigation. Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials, such as reports, findings and presentations.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Electrical Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Eighteen months of experience conducting contract and compliance assessments and performing third-party data use security reviews in the marketing and advertising industry.
Experience must include eighteen months of:
Assessing contract compliance of third-parties and partners across advertising and marketing ecosystems, including revenue share arrangements, data share and data use restrictions, and data transfer methods;
Analyzing complex data relationships within large complex data sets and between systems where large data reside;
Conducting client interviews to evaluate business processes, and IT and accounting systems, and performing risk identification analysis around advertising attribution for reporting purposes;
Assessing data feeds and data flows between partners in the advertising and marketing ecosystems;
Designing and developing customized assessment frameworks for third-party contract and compliance assessments;
Analyzing data sharing relationships, data use cases, and relationships between third-party advertising and marketing partners;
Creating client deliverables and reports that document testing, findings, assessment procedures, and final conclusions and performing weekly report read-out on completed assessments to clients;
Utilizing data visualization tools, including Tableau, Visio, SQL, and R, to deliver visualized data findings and report assessments to client; and
Mentoring and coaching junior team members, including reviewing work product and providing feedback to improve quality of deliverables.
