Postdoctoral Research Associate
Princeton University
Princeton University Postdoctoral Research Associate - Condensed Matter ExperimentThe condensed matter spectroscopy group at Princeton University invites applications for multiple Postdoctoral Research or more senior positions to work on controlled synthesis of hetero-structures, transport measurements and spectroscopy based studies of quantum Hall or topological systems, superconductors, topological magnetic materials. The successful candidates will carry out transport, growth, magnetic measurement and advanced spectroscopy experiments in sequence at Princeton University, several national laboratories including Brookhaven and Florida high-field magnet lab. Experience with design and construction of devices based on hetero-structure (quantum Hall type measurements) would be a plus. The successful candidates will have a strong research and publication record and must have a Ph.D in physics, electrical engineering or related disciplines. Prior experience in growth including MBE, quantum transport and spectroscopy of topological materials including high-magnetic-field measurements; UHV/Cryogenic Techniques; nano/microscale device fabrication based on techniques such as Focus Ion Beam; high performance FET, and spectroscopy/microscopy techniques with or without time-of-flight instruments would be considered favorably. Appointments are typically for one year with the possibility of annual renewal (for a maximum of three years) upon mutual agreement. To apply for these positions please go to https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/16963 You will be asked to upload (1) a recent CV, (2) publications list, (3) a research statement, and (4) contact information for four referees, who will be asked to provide letters of support.
