Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering and Energy Sciences Yale University The department of Electrical Engineering and the Energy Sciences Institute (ESI) at Yale University are jointly announcing a tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level with an anticipated start date of July, 2021. We seek creative teacher-scholars to develop outstanding research programs in Electrical Engineering with a focus on energy science, broadly defined. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, electronic and quantum materials, energy efficient devices and systems, low-power bioinspired systems, energy harvesting, and novel photovoltaic materials and devices. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the University. Yale is engaged in a campus-wide investment in quantum science, engineering, and materials; we are conducting searches in this broad area across a range of departments and expect to conduct additional searches in this area in future years.
