We are looking for a mission minded Software Engineer to part of our growing team.
The Software Engineer works under the guidance of a Technical Lead, architect, and manager in writing quality code that aligns with the product roadmap in an agile environment. As a member of the project team, you will develop full stack software using agile practices, interact with business partners, service providers and third-party vendors and take part in different phases of software development lifecycle.
Write secure and scalable full stack solutions, including unit/integration tests, as a member of an agile development team
Collaborate with team members to define user stories, iteration plans and team commitments, and achieve them
Build new software solutions that modernize existing legacy applications, writing production ready code using software development best practices
Create and maintain front end and technical design documentation and UI/UX artifacts
Work with infrastructure and shared services for successful software deployment and monitoring
Research and recommend solutions to difficult technical and business problems
Help triage, troubleshoot, and support applications
1+ years hands-on working experience with relational database technologies
Experience using cloud architectures and cloud native solutions (AWS preferred)
Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins
Solid understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns
Experience developing web based, interactive reporting solutions is desirable
Non-relational database experience is desirable
Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus
Test, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or other advanced testing techniques
Effective written and verbal communication
Able to think critically, logically, and independently
4+ years of college degree in Computer Science or commensurate industry experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S, now or in the future, without support from McKesson. Relocation is NOT budgeted for this position.
