  • During the current period of COVID-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position, with transition to working onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts when our campus reopens.

This is a one-year term role from date of hire. Term renewal will be based on available funding and if the project needs more work or support beyond the one-year period.

Salary Grade: 057

Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary



  • Knowledge of data structures, database, storage, data aggregation, data mapping, and data architecture.

  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.

  • Proficient in database language and tools (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

  • Advanced programming skills (Python is preferred).

  • Experience with Linux and distributed computing is a PLUS.

  • Comfortable working with version control systems such as git.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated success in working in a cross-functional team in an agile environment.
