You will be part of Electrical Engineering development team to develop and our Next Generation I/O products. You will play a key role in all phases of product development from concept, requirements definition, design/implementation of circuits, troubleshooting of designs, functional safety impact assessment, product verification and certification testing, and release to production. You will engage in these activities to drive performance, functionality, cost optimization, manufacturability and quality in products delivered. You will work with team from multiple disciplines in engineering, project managers, product marketing, and manufacturing & quality organizations to bring our product roadmaps to life.
Master/ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
12+ years of experience designing electrical circuits and printed circuit boards for hardware systems, with expertise in isolated and non-isolated power supply design.
Experience developing electronic hardware systems that meet product certification requirements, such as UL, CE, or IEC 61010.
Proven track records in power design related activities and knowledge.
In depth knowledge on power supply topologies, e.g. Sepic, buck, boost, flyback etc and different compensation techniques. Determine which of these topologies best suits the needs based on given product requirements.
End-to End development experience from requirements, design, component selection, PCB and layout design. Balancing between features, cost and product size.
Strong in design calculations and simulation data for energy, thermal, power efficiency based on selected design concept.
Different type of transformer design, specification, and materials. Ability to work with supplier(s) to discuss on requirement, testing method, identification of issues and resolutions.
Experience in schematic design, modelling / simulation tool and equipment for power converter design.
Demonstrated skills in the hardware development process, including circuit simulation & design, component de-rating, hardware debug & checkout.
Strong passion and self-driven to bring solutions for any given design challenges.
Ability to lead, communicate and engage solutions with cross functional teams to find solutions.
Ability to achieve targets while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
PhD / Master in Power Electronics.
Experience designing electronic hardware systems that meet functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508 and/or SIL2/SIL3).
