Within the Enterprise Contact Technology (ECT) group in Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology ( CSBBT), there is an exciting opportunity for a technical lead role as Software Engineer/Developer who will be involved in designing, implementing and supporting incremental projects for Contact Center applications. The position will be part of the technology team working in several critical applications like Customer Information View (CIV), Cross Channel Tools (XCT), Interaction Console (IC) and Interaction Platform Abstraction Layer (IPAL). The team is looking for a self-motivated/self-directed Java developer having experience working on web applications and web services, interacting with multiple SOR/back end systems, communicating via SOAP and REST/JSON API messaging over HTTPS in an Agile environment. Candidates will be responsible for the following but not limited to: - Act in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their
- technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
- Design, code, test,debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
- Utilize advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
- Develop new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected
- transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
- As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems.
- Lead projects and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of Java experience
- 4 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- 3+ years of Tomcat development or implementation experience
- 3+ years of Spring experience
- 3+ years of experience in front end application development, operations and automation using React, Redux, AngularJS and Node
- 2+ years of experience in building and deploying microservices and cross channel restful Application Programming Interface (APIs) using Apigee, Consul, Resilience4J and Redis
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
- 2+ years of Telephony experience
- Ability to clearly express ideas and proposed solutions
- 3+ years of UNIX experience
- Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: programming: C++, JavaScript, or Java
- 2 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- 2 + years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using ASP.NET MVC, Knockout, Javascript, or JQuery, or with frameworks such as Angular.JS or HTML 5
- Splunk experience
- Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
- Knowledge and understanding of public and private cloud integration with AWS, IAAS, Asure or Google
- Experience with Spark, Hive and Kafka
- Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 1+ year of virtual directory services experience
- 3+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Community Banking Retail Store Model and/or WFVC/Contact Center Model
- Knowledge and understanding of Softphone
- Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
- Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
