This candidate will work as part of a cross functional Engineering team within Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology in the design, development and implementation of new technology solutions around data aggregation, common reporting solutions and building advanced automation solutions. This is a hands on Java development role part of an agile scrum team. Responsibilities include: - Developing functional system design and technical solution design documents and interface data mapping. Must also conduct walk through meetings of the produced documents with impacted technical/system groups, testing groups, servicing groups, and business groups.
- Lead Proof of concept efforts and driving the implementation of new technology solutions to reality
- Support technical and testing groups in root cause analysis of system defects.
- Acts as a liaison between business and technical organizations by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Knowledgeable in design standards and responsible for driving consistency and alignment to software engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of Java experience
- 2+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
- 2+ years of experience with one or a combination of the following: RESTful, JSON or XML web-based services
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Kafka and PubSub patterns tools
- 2+ years of Agile experience
- UI (User Interface) experience
- Knowledge and understanding of web systems: architecture or design
- Knowledge and understanding of technical design: patterns
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
