This MDM Software Sr. Engineer will play a key role in shaping the Data Enrichment and MDM Processes to address and prioritize needs of multiple lines of businesses. The candidate will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Development and Automation of ETL/MDM processes for an Enterprise CRM core services group utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology (Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, Informatica MDM, relational databases, SFDC), tools (SQL tools, Data Modeling tools, Shell scripts, PL-SQL), and existing designs. This position requires extensive collaboration with various technology teams, partnering with Business users and downstream application teams, creating technical documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guides as well as allocating and managing resources, and managing the work of developer team members. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business and technical teams with capability to understand business requirements and convert them to technical specifications along with the following responsibilities: - Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for all the database and Informatica ETL/IDQ/MDM code that would be developed for the supported LOB areas and oversees the development activities from other resources
- Acting as a lead developer and providing application design, guidance, and consultation utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology tools and existing designs
- Providing coding direction to less experienced staff and develops highly complex original code
- Analyzing highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications
- Serving as a technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Verifying program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs
- Overseeing overall systems testing including ET, SIT, and UAT etc.
- Providing support during off-hours/weekend during production deployment and UAT
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with Informatica MultiDomain Master Data Management (MDM) Development
- 5+ years experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) development
- 5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
- 4+ years of development experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- 4+ years of experience leading technical development teams
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience working with any relational database and SQL
- 7+ years of working experience with any of the ETL frameworks
- 6+ years of strong experience with UNIX shell scripting and Autosys job scheduling
- 2+ years of experience in working with Salesforce SFDC and/or other CRM systems
- 1+ years of Experience in working with Message Queues, Web Services/APIs
- Master Data Domain experience in organization, contact, and other data domains at a senior developer level
- Hands-on experience with ActiveVOS and Informatica Data Director (IDD) tool
- Strong experience with full lifecycle development methodologies, standards and procedures
- Knowledgeable and experienced in data modeling including dimensional modeling techniques
- Domain knowledge in banking/finance
- Knowledge in Mulesoft
- Well versed with Agile methodology and JIRA
- Good understanding of SDLC methodology and tools like Git, Jenkins, uDeploy
