You will be responsible for the design, development and testing of real-time signal generation and trade monitoring applications. This will see you work closely with other teammate developers and the wider business to collaborate on designing high quality, reliable / best in class solutions. The company offers a real team-centric approach to its development, so you will be able to contribute quickly to both coding and design ideas for a cutting-edge system working in the global derivatives marketplace. Previous finance experience is not a prerequisite but strong Python development skills are mandatory. Requirements: - A deep knowledge of Python & experience building complex, high performance systems.
- Ability to design /develop relational databases, make schema changes stored procedures (SQL/PostgreSQL).
- Design / code web based apps in Python, JavaScript, HTML5/XML.
- Experience delivering real-time, trading / market data, risk related systems.
- Comfortable with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile Methodology.
- A technology and/or finance focused degree / diploma.
- DevOps, CI/CD tools (Kubernetes) (Desirable)
This role would be suited for people coming from a Web Development, Python Developer, Analyst Programmer, Software Engineer or Coder background from a complex environment.
