Detailed Job Description Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President for Student Affairs, this position provides leadership for all Campus Life finances and human resource management for all of our positions (professional (21) and para-professional (over 300 students in an academic year)). Performs high-level accounting functions (including transactions that impact RIT's balance sheet and resolving complex financial challenges involving multiple funding sources) for department and division. Serves as integral member of AVP's leadership team to provide fiscal counsel, develop strategic financial direction, evaluate capacity planning, and outreach/coaching to staff and campus partners regarding budget processes, accounting activity and financial vision. Provides on-going evaluation of resource allocation and internal controls to ensure allocation of University budget and SAFs is appropriate, mitigate potential audit liabilities, and anticipate financial trends and drivers to maximize the student experience and engagement.
