Detailed Job Description The NTID Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, reporting to the NTID Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations, focuses primarily on alumni engagement with the goal of enhancing philanthropic support of the university. Activities will include the planning, execution and staffing of regional events, coordination of on-campus events, one-on-one engagement, and maintaining daily communication with alumni via phone, email, and social media. The Assistant Director will also serve as a liaison to RIT Alumni Relations staff, assisting with major institute wide initiatives including Brick City Homecoming, Imagine RIT, Class Toast, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Two years experience
Proficiency in American Sign Language and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.
Experience using MS Office
Strong writing, public speaking and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to travel domestically
Flexibility on nights and weekends
PLEASE NOTE: The individual hired for this position will be required to have a pre-employment Motor Vehicle check, and the Motor Vehicle Report must clear RIT's Safe Driving Policy (please refer to page 4)
