The projects you will be working on will include building firm-wide Order Management Systems and Reporting Suite solutions from scratch. These are integral to the success of the business so you will immediately be working on business-critical systems which impact the bottom line. You will be expected to work in lock-step with our Operations and Technology teams to understand what is required and how best it can be delivered.
This is a UK based role but we are flexible regarding work location and are more than happy to discuss a remote working agreement.

Experience
The candidates who apply for this position should have:
2 years + industry experience and the ability to work with an experienced software development team.
Experience of writing highly performant, robust and clean code for all manners of distributed and concurrent systems.
A keen interest in technology, what is current and new/coming to market.
Collaborative Software Engineering techniques and methods (AGILE).
Ability to remain calm under pressure and use your initiative to research solutions or seek support from the appropriate channel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, high standard of spoken and written English will be expected.
Prior practical experience in the financial sector is advantageous but not essential.
