Job Description ConnectiveRX is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our software team. This person will be a thought leader with a proven track record of success in envisioning, executing, and sustaining long term software roadmaps in an enterprise setting. ConnectiveRx’s technology products comprise a diverse set of offerings spanning the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical tech spaces. Our technology stack is equally diverse, consisting of platforms and technologies such as Microsoft .NET (C#, .NET Core, SQL Server…), JavaScript (node, Angular, React…), AWS, Azure DevOps, Salesforces, a variety of database and EDW technologies, and more. In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience to guide technology and product roadmaps, identify cross-cutting opportunities to improve to our technologies and infrastructure, facilitate decisions across our various software teams, develop IT Architecture and other applicable project documentation, and otherwise act as a strategic leader for the software department. Your Day to Day: - Lead the software group in the evaluation and selection of best practices regarding engineering standards, software design patterns, and software development methodologies—especially any practices that will cut across our various technology teams and business units
- Help software teams to document, access, and interpret these best practices
- Advise IT, Product, and Business leadership on software architecture, technology stacks, and migration paths for legacy applications; identify opportunities for improvement to existing systems and processes
- Lead the qualification and evaluation of new technologies and tools for the software department
- Represent technology in the portfolio management process; assist as needed in the evaluation of new project and product opportunities, including solutioning and estimation
- Drive knowledge management for the technology department, including the documentation of existing systems
- Help to develop and socialize software strategy and roadmaps; understand business and product roadmaps, act as an advisor to those groups, and ensure compatibility across product and technology teams
- Act as an advisor to and coordinator with closely partnered technology groups such as Infrastructure, EDW, Security, and QA
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends with an eye toward practical application
Essential Requirements - Ability to form deep relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; active listening and communication skills; abstract technical problem solving; ability to influence and drive consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders and decision makers
- Deep experience with enterprise software engineering and architecture, including web application development and architecture, .NET, microservices, cloud infrastructure, multi-tenancy, dev ops, test automation, CRMs, EDW, third party integrations, etc.
Desirable Requirements - 15+ years relevant IT experience as an architect, senior systems engineer, or consultant
- Familiarity with relevant business domains such as specialty pharmaceuticals, healthcare technology standards, hub services, patient affordability, and the like
