What you’ll be doing... At BlueJeans, we’re transforming the way people meet by creating a human connection in every experience. Together, we’re bringing immersive meeting experiences to everyone, regardless of location or device, including mobile, desktop, or room systems. We work with thousands of companies worldwide to upgrade everyday meetings, large-scale events, and social network broadcasts by replacing traditional web conferencing with face-to-face video communication. All our customers have one trait in common: they understand the benefits to bringing their employees, leaders, and partners closer together. Our Engineering team focuses on achieving an ideal balance between customer delight, innovation and developer experience. We have a great mix of backgrounds and expertise across a deep stack of technologies and a culture of collaborative problem solving. Work closely with product managers to translate product requirements into design. Work with the architects and the engineering team on the implementation of these features and participate in design and code reviews. Work with program management to track day to day project status and run daily scrums. Communicate project status to stakeholders
What we’re looking for... You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Six or more years of software engineering experience building SaaS or consumer web applications. Three or more years of experience designing and architecting scalable web applications. Knowledge of network and communication protocols.
Even better if you have.. BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or related field. Experience in at-least one server side language such as Java or Node.js. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, monitoring and orchestration tools. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)as well as API cache design and caching technologies. Experience building RESTful APIs and have good knowledge of RESTful design patterns. Ability to communicate and work well within a geographically distributed team. Experience in real-time communication products. Experience in scaling large high transaction volume web services. Contributed to open source projects.
