We are looking to on board a Python Developer with banking / financial services experience; specifically FX (Foreign Exchange) working for emagine onsite with a leading Global Investment Bank. As this is a brand new trading floor, the successful Python Developer will be essential in helping to build out the team around them for the business that looks after exotic trades across Europe and some of Asia. These trades include complex interest rates, complex FX and structured funding.

Please note this is a senior hire and we are only screening applications with 8+ years' experience as a Python Developer / Python Engineer with a banking background.

• Are you an experienced Senior Python Developer / Python Engineer with ideally 8 years+ experience working with Python?
• Are you a Senior Python Developer / Python Engineer with experience of working on a trade floor in a fast paced environment?
• Are you a Senior Python Developer / Python Engineer with knowledge of FX (Swaps, Rates, bonds, Exotics)?
• Are you a Senior Python Developer / Python Engineer with testing experience in an agile environment?
• Are you a Python Developer / Python Engineer who can provide leadership?
• Are you a Python Developer / Python Engineer with strong communication skills with stakeholders?

This role offers the Python Developer the opportunity for involvement throughout the software development lifecycle and will include development of major greenfield components.
