What you’ll be doing... We are looking for a passionate, full stack Lead Engineer for our team in San Jose. You will work with a group of engineers to help build high performance, scalable, resilient web applications that are leveraged by teams throughout BlueJeans by Verizon. - Utilizeexcellent oral and written communication skills.
- Designing and building large scalable web services.
- Working with RESTful APIs and common RESTful design patterns.
- Communicate and work well within a geographically distributed team.
What we’re looking for... You'll need to have: - Six or moreyears of product development experience.
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years ofwork experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience building scalable web services with RESTful APIs.
- Experience working in ES5/HTML5/CSS3.
- Experience withJava and using frameworks such as Spring.
- Experience in JavaScript based Front-End’s suc React/Backbone/Angular/Ember .
Even better if you have: - Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in real-time communication products.
- Understanding of database technologies as well as API cache design and caching technologies.
- Experience in scaling large high transaction volume web services.
- Experience in cloud native technologies.
- Contributions to open source projects.
