We are currently looking to fill a Software Engineer position on the Wealth and Investment Management Technology Team supporting the Wells Fargo Advisors Line of Business. This position will be on the Planning Tools team which supports critical applications/products for the Wells Fargo Advisors line of business. This role will develop solutions utilizing Angular, .NET, JSON, JavaScript, HTML5 and also Java for the creation of micro-services along with C++ for a highly specialized simulation engine. This position will be developing the User Interface, Middle Tier and data tier for the new applications. Additional responsibilities for the role will analyze business requirements, design and write technical specifications to design or redesign applications. This resource will also work closely with our business, technology, infrastructure, and architecture teams on multiple fast paced projects. As a first escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, will provide the resolution of escalated concerns and/or production, application or system issues. Other responsibilities include working with other team members on projects, coding and testing enhancements while assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. This role will be split between troubleshooting technical issues and working with our business partners for future enhancements to our systems. The role requires the ability to work in ever changing environments and may require after hours work as needed.
